More than just photos, it's an experience

What makes my concert photobooks and prints truly special? With each book, I strive to take my captures and offer up what it was like to actually be there. I aim to capture the artists connecting with the crowd, connecting with us, and sometimes just being unaware of the lens. It's about bringing that live energy right into your hands.

Bringing happiness, one memory at a time

What kind of feeling do I want people to have when they see my beautiful prints or flip through my photobooks? Happiness. Music should make you happy! While a sad song might evoke other emotions, in general, songs are there to enjoy, and our visuals aim to capture that pure joy and energy of the live experience.

Sample pages from Volumes 1 - 5

Angelique Francis Band

What a treat it was to see this multi talented band of musicians!  Angelique and her band, including three sisters and her dad give 100% from the time they hit the stage until they leave the stage.  This event was the Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival 2025, Cool Blues Show!

Taken from Volume 4.

Annika Chambers & Paul Deslauriers

A dynamic duo who really know how to entertain.  Annika from Florida and Paul from Quebec who got together and are now band mates and husband and wife.  I just loved what I captured in this pic - they are obviously having the time of their life and they are so into each other!

Taken from Volume 3.

Colin Linden

I was really looking forward to seeing this show and then when I arrived I was told that Colin had a surprise guest joining him for a few numbers I got really excited.  Turns out, he had two guests join him at the Rogue Folk Club in Vancouver - Colin James and Ben Mink.  Colin James should need no intro - 21 studio albums, 8 Juno Awards, 31 Maple Blues Awards and multi-platinum record sales!  Ben Mink, one of Colin Linden's oldest friends, ex of the band FM, later changed to Nash The Slash.  Ben is a multi instrumentalist and long time collaborator with K.D. Lang.  What an awesome show!

Taken from Volume 3.

Glenn Marais

I first met Glenn at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January of 2024.  Glenn and his band The Mojo Train had braved all kinds of nasty weather to drive from Newmarket, Ontario to the event.  I had lived in Newmarket for years and had to go introduce myself.  This picture was taken in January 2025 at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis where Glenn was performing solo.  This is a super talented guy!

Taken from Volume 2.

Brandon Isaak

Brandon was playing at The Nanaimo Blues Festival in 2024.  What a great show and what a great showman.  Brandon is a fantastic musician, songwriter and performer!  I ran into Brandon at another show after I'd published the book and he kindly signed it for me.

Taken from Volume 1.

Shakura S'Aida

Shakura took the stage at The Nanaimo Blues Festival and there was no misunderstanding about who was in charge!  What a great stage presence this lady has.

Led Zepagain

In 2024 I got to see Led Zepagain at the Clarke Theatre in Mission and was fortunate enough to get some great shots of this fabulous tribute band.  Led Zepagain has been touring North American for over 30 years paying tribute to Led Zeppelin and they do a fine job!

Taken from Volume 3.

Blue Moon Marquee

Edmonton Blues Festival 2024!  What a great line up there was for that festival.  My first time seeing Blue Moon Marquee and I loved their show.  Hopefully I captured some good moments!

Taken from Volume 2

Sonny Landreth

Sonny was playing with Bayou Boogie - playing with Marcia Ball and C.J. Chenier celebrating the 100th birthday of the great Clifton Chenier.  Zydecco at the Edmonton Blues Festival.  My eyes were pretty well glued to Sonny.  His playing is so amazing.  I'm on cloud nine hearing the notes that come from his guitar!  Ten digits working in harmony to create the most amazing work!

Taken from Volume 4

Boyz 11 Men

I have to confess, I really didn't have any idea what the songs or the band would be like when I accepted the offer to capture Boyz 11 Men!  I was booked for two shows in BC - Great Canadian Casino in Coquitlam and River Rock Casino in Richmond.  Both 'SOLD OUT' shows!  What I got out of the shows was a new respect for this incredibly talented trio of musicians/vocalists.  Both shows were great - entertaining from start to finish! " Boyz II Men are the most commercially successful R&B group of all time."  Four grammy's and multiple awards over their lengthy history.  Hard to dispute the talent in this band.

Miss Emily

I got to see the fabulous Miss Emily at a small intimate restaurant setting.  Miss Emily, her guitar and keyboards - everything that's needed for such a small venue.  Now I just want to see Miss Emily with a full band!

Taken from Volume 5

Selwyn Birchwood

Selwyn is from Tampa, Florida and he was the winner of the Blues Foundation’s 2013 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, as well the winner of the Albert King Guitarist of the Year award, presented at the same event.  The barefoot guitarist!  In Edmonton Selwyn went for a long hike from the stage throughout the crowd at the festival - new sod and we had encountered some rain so a little like muddy mess!  A great entertainer and a nice guy too!

Taken from Volume 3.

Angel Forrest Trio

Angel Forrest is a Canadian folk/blues/rock singer and man can she sing!  I had the pleasure of capturing the Angel Forrest Trio at the Nanaimo Blues Festival 2025.   What a great show she put on!

Taken from Volume 4.

Brandon Isaak & The Saints of Swing

What can I say about Brandon Isaak???  He is one super talented singer/songwriter/musician and all round nice guy!  I've seen Brandon at many different venues from small venues to large festivals and thoroughly enjoyed 'Yukon Slim'!
